:- 1.0 out of 5 stars from laceymakescake -- No moral, boring no real point to story : While I totally see what Joe Wicks is trying to achieve here and I admire it, I found the story boring and repetitive. There is no moral to the story, the bears don’t really do anything and the book lacks a rousing conclusion / warm fuzzy ending. Call me cliched. I’m sure my opinion will be unpopular - I am a huge fan of the Body Coach but also a huge fan of children’s books and I just didn’t find the burpee bears to be a successful marriage of these two worlds. My 2 children LOVED it - they were captivated and randomly started doing lunges and burpees during the story! We did the wind down routine together as it was bedtime and they want to make the recipes this week. What an amazing book!!
